EWF AIPS Weightlifter of the Year

European Weightlifting Federation and AIPS Europe have joined forces to run the official vote for the EWF AIPS Weightlifter of the Year. Together they oversee the full voting and selection process, highlighting athletes whose performances and character stood out throughout the season.

For the selection of the future “Weightlifter of the Year,” the panel will be composed of EWF CRSC Chair Jesmond Carruana, EWF AC Chair Ivona Gavran, and EWF AC member Despina Polaktsidou. After preparing an initial proposal, the panel will submit it to the Executive Board for approval. Following EB approval, the EWF Executive Board will forward the nominations to AIPS Europe for the election of the Best European Weightlifter.
